We were happy to recieve the You're Amazing stamp set as part of our Convention package this year. Here it is in a card that also features the new Core'dinations card stock from the Holiday catalog. As with all of Stampin' Up!'s AWESOME products, the Core'dinations card stock is coordinated in exclusive Stampin' Up! colors. The one used here is Early Espresso, embossed with the new Woodgrain folder, and then sanded using the Stampin' Sanding System (also available in the Holiday catalog). The inside layer of the SU! Core'dinations card stock reveals a monochromatic color, rather than white. The sentiment was stamped and then cut using one of the shapes from the Apothecary Accents Framelit dies for the Big Shot.

This card was inspired by a card done by Kay Kalthoff that was posted on her Stamping to Share blog
We received both of the sets (Daydream Medallions and You're Amazing) used on this card as part of our Convention package. Once again, the Daydream Medallions images are perfectly coordinated to be used with the Floral Frames Framelits dies for the Big Shot! The background piece was embossed with the Argyle folder, one of the latest additions to our Big Shot product line. The center of the flower is embellished with an antique brad, and the card is finished off with some Rich Razzleberry stitched grosgrain ribbon. The inside sentiment is from the You're Amazing set.

What's not to love about coordinating products like the Apothecary Art stamp set and Big Shot Labels Collection Framelits?! The Fancy Fan embossing folder was used for the background accent strip. The floral image was stamped with black Staz-On and then colored using the Classic Stampin' Pads and Blender Pens.

We received the Affection Collection stamp set as part of our Convention 2012 package. These two cards feature the set, along with the new Lacy Brocade embossing folder, Window Frames Framelits Collection, and Festive Paper-Piercing Pack, all three from the Holiday 2012 catalog. Our apologies for the poor lighting in the photos, the top colors are Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum, and the bottom colors are River Rock and Always Artichoke, both with a Very Vanilla base.

This was one of those "must have" sets when the new catalog came out! There are many possibilities to get very creative with the peacock and layer it's feathers with various colors, emboss, detail, you name it! It all depends on how much time you want to invest, which is always the FUN in being CREATIVE! The sentiment matches one of the dies from the Apothecary Accents Framelits. We used a piece of the International Bazaar Designer Series Paper, which adds beautiful color and design to the card. The feathers and sentiment are accented with rhinestones.

We hope you're loving the new 2012-2014 In Color collection as much as we are! This card was done with coordinating products in Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green. The flower stamp is from the Bright Blossoms set, and the sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners set and then die-cut using the AWESOME Bitty Banners Framelits for the Sizzix Big Shot.

This was one of the cards that we did at our July Big Shot Club workshop. We used the new Argyle textured impressions embossing folder and the Perfect Pennants Bigz L die for the Sizzix Big Shot. It's hard to see from the photo, but the Pumpkin Pie pennant is the folded part of the card. The sentiment comes from the Word Play set.

This simple card features some of our latest 2012-2014 In Colors: Summer Starfruit, Primrose Petals, and Gumball Green. The candles were made using some of the coordinating DSP stack, and the flames were made with the wings from the bird punch. The sentiment is from the Wacky Wishes stamp set. The ribbon is our new 3/8" stitched satin ribbon, also available in the new In Color hues!

Scot made these invitations for his sister-in-law's baby shower using the retired (sorry!) Flower Fest and Sincere Salutations stamp sets. The colors are Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade. The retired butterfly punch was also used. The Lucky Limeade flower centers were punched using the flower shape from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack, and then embellished with rhinestones. The invitation was accented with Lucky Limeade 3/8" ruffled ribbon.

This was one of our July Big Shot Club projects, made using the very versatile Top Note Bigz die. The stamped images are from the Apothecary Accents and Everything Eleanor stamp sets. The patterned paper is from the 2011-2013 In Color Collection DSP Stack. The "For You" image was die-cut using the Labels Collection Framelits. The image on the Soft Suede scallop is from the Everything Eleanor stamp set and punched with the 2 3/8" scallop punch.

We have to share this video that Stampin' Up! does every year with the highlights from Convention. If you watch closely, our friends Kevin, Patty, Karen, and Dennis are in there. We also forgot to mention that the keynote speaker, Jason Dorsey, was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! He talked about the differences between generations and had us ROFLOAO!!! His website is http://www.jasondorsey.com/
Here was our tribute photo to his presentation:
Unfortunately Kira wasn't in the photo because she was taking it. We were trying to find a frozen yogurt or ice cream place in downtown Salt Lake City (except Anne because she still has a flip phone and doesn't text - a Baby Boomer stuck in a Gen X body!).
We had the wonderful opportunity to attend the annual Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City a couple of weeks ago, and this video done by the Stampin' Up! home office was one of our favorite things!! That was in addition to hanging out and stampin' with our AWESOME FRIENDS, getting LOTS of WONDERFUL STAMPIN' UP! PRODUCTS, acquiring inspiration from extremely talented and creative people, and seeing all of our favorite "Stampin' Up! celebrities" (like the amazing Cofounder and CEO Shelli Gardner)!
Kevin, Wendy, Dennis, Kira, Shelli, Scot, Patty, and Karen
A HUGE THANK YOU to our AWESOME CUSTOMERS/FRIENDS who helped us to achieve an annual sales recognition award! Here we are during our march on stage with our great friends Patty and Anne.
Dinner with friends is always one of the highlights - here we are with Kevin and Wendy at The Cheesecake Factory.
They had chalkboards for us to complete the "I AM" Convention theme, so as you can see, I wrote "I AM a creative male demonstrator" (there aren't many of us); and Kira wrote "I AM a stamping sibling w/my bro!" I'd also venture to say that we are probably the only sister/brother team!
Here's four of us male demonstrators - me, Kevin, Jason, and Dennis. And here we are with our beautiful Convention bags...
We always have a great time, and this year was no exception!!!
