Happy Birthday to Us!

The Stampin' Siblings both celebrated birthdays this week, Scot on 6/12, and Kira today, 6/16, so here's a card for the occasion! It features the new Happy Birthday Thinlit, Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set, Color Theory Designer Series Paper, and 3/8"  Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon. Introducing 2017-19 Stampin' Up! In Color Fresh Fig & Label Me Pretty Stamp Set

Favorite New Stampin' Up! Bundle - Lemon Zest

On the first glance through the new 2017-18 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog, these products jumped out and landed at the top of the wish list! The Lemon Zest stamp set is bundled perfectly with the Lemon Builder punch (save 10% when purchased together). We love when stamp sets include both images and sentiments, and especially when the font is awesome too! The new Layered Leaves 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder coordinates easily as well!

Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to the rescue for Detailed Dies!

One of the challenges with intricate die cuts is figuring out how to adhere them to your project. We are not fans of glue, no matter how fine the tip is or how clean it's supposed to be, let's just say we HATE IT!!! Any form of it!!! It's messy and gets everywhere, regardless of how careful you are with it!!! But that's why there are so many options for adhesive, to each his own, right? Well, we were SO EXCITED to see these Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets in the new 2017-18 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog! These are AMAZING! If you haven't tried them, we strongly encourage it for those detailed dies, like the new Happy Birthday Thinlit. It's easy, you cut the size cardstock or DSP that you need to fit the die, and cut that same size of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet. You'll remove one side of the adhesive sheet and stick the cardstock or DSP to it. After you run it through the Big Shot, you simply peel off the die cut and stick it to your project, no mess whatsoever! This card also features one of the new 2017-19 Stampin' Up! In Colors, Tranquil Tide. The simple card features the coordinating Fresh Florals DSP and 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon.

Envelope Punch Board Treat Box

Although most of the products that were used for this treat box are retired, the tool used and the idea in general are not. This pinwheel-style treat box is made using the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board. Each box uses only a 6" x 6" square of Designer Series Paper. The idea came from Dawn Griffith, here is a link to her video tutorial. We think these would make perfect party favors!

Stampin' Up! Eastern Palace Suite

The first three of these cards were designed by Stampin' Up! and demonstrate some of the new products featured in the Eastern Palace Suite. The fourth card was a card we made inspired by one from fellow demonstrator Mary Fish, and uses the NEW Very Vanilla Note Cards & Envelopes. The Eastern Medallion Thinlits Dies (shown below) are so versatile, and can be used to create so many different designs. The Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper is full of rich, colorful patterns. Speaking of versatility, the coordinating Eastern Beauty stamp set offers more of that! The samples also show the Mini Tassels Assortment and Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers. The possibilities are endless with these products!

Introducing Lemon Lime Twist

One of the NEW 2017-2019 beautiful Stampin' Up! In Colors! Every year, before a new collection of In Colors gets revealed, we find ourselves wondering whether we'll like them or not...and, whether or not we react positively to them at first, we always end up loving them (mostly)! It's refreshing to get new colors, it breathes new life into existing products like ink pads and cardstock, and inspires new ideas with new products like Designer Series Paper, ribbon, and new stamp sets! Here's a card using the new Lemon Lime Twist, and it will be offered in our In Color card kit class very soon! The sentiment is from a new stamp set called Happy Birthday Gorgeous. We also used the Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Ovals Framelits, Lemon Lime Twist 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon, and Fresh Florals Designer Paper Series Stack. The card design was inspired by several fellow demonstrators, but specifically by Dawn Bourgette.
