Queen for a Day

This card is another version of yesterday's post.  This one uses the Love Letter DSP along with the Artistic Etchings, You're a Gem, and Bring on the Cake stamp sets.  The crown is embellished with some basic rhinestone jewels. 

Recycled Treat Container

These great treat ideas were made using empty Crystal Light containers.  We thought the Artistic Etchings set and the Love Letter DSP provided the perfect images and color combination for an expression of "amour".

And, the container is a nice size to include plenty of chocolate for the ones you love!  The hanging tag idea came from Chiaki Haverstick's (http://www.stampingpro.com/) beautiful card:

Today's cards were designed by a fellow demonstrator friend, Dan.  Dan said not to give him credit, but the cards he did are so nice, that we just had to recognize him.  The coincidence is that when he sent the photos, he indicated that he had used some discontinued items like the Riding Hood Red striped ribbon and some ribbon from the Beachfront originals pack, but those items can be found in the 'Clearance Rack' section on our Stampin' Up website!  The "Loving You" card is embossed using the Backgrounds 1 Texturz plate.  The stamps are Artistic Etchings, En Francais, and Seasonal Sentiments.  He used the small heart and decorative label punches.  The "Friends" card uses the Vintage Vogue stamp set and coordinating Very Vintage jumbo wheel.  The embossing is done using the Backgrounds 1 Texturz plate.  As we have mentioned in the past, one of our favorite things about being Stampin' Up! Just For You, Your Majesty!

This card is totally CASE'd from a swap received at Convention from fellow demonstrator Jan Burnett.  There was one color alteration made - the original card base was Basic Black instead of Bravo Burgundy.  It's hard to see, but there are three basic rhinestone jewels on the crown.  The sentiment is from the Just Believe stamp set and the crown is from Artistic Etchings.  The strip of paper behind the crown is from the Newsprint DSP collection.  The Crumb Cake background is embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.  Several punches were used including word window, modern label, 1 3/8" circle, 1 3/4" circle, and the 2 3/8" scallop.
