Top Note Gift Card Pocket

This was one of our July Big Shot Club projects, made using the very versatile Top Note Bigz die.  The stamped images are from the Apothecary Accents and Everything Eleanor stamp sets.  The patterned paper is from the 2011-2013 In Color Collection DSP Stack.  The "For You" image was die-cut using the Labels Collection Framelits.  The image on the Soft Suede scallop is from the Everything Eleanor stamp set and punched with the 2 3/8" scallop punch.

More Flower Fest

Here's a simple card using the Flower Fest set.  Our favorite part is that just about every stamp in the set (except the leaves) matches a punch!!!  That's how EVERY set should be!!!  The centers of the flowers were embellished with basic rhinestones, and Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon was used to decorate the bottom.  The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla.

Bloom with NEW Flower Fest Set

This is the scrapbook page we did at our workshop this past Sunday.  The new Flower Fest set out of the Summer mini catalog includes several images that can be punched out - the one used on this page was stamped with VersaMark on multiple coordinating colors of cardstock and then punched out with the 2 3/8" scallop circle.  The strip of patterned paper on the bottom is the Presto Patterns specialty DSP sponged with Rich Razzleberry ink.  The scalloped Wild Wasabi strip was cut using the Tasteful Trim die for the Big Shot.  The "BLOOM" letters are from the Jayne's Type Alphabet set.  We hope you have the opportunity to celebrate National Scrapbooking month during May!

Birthday Greetings

This fun design showcases some of the level 1 Hostess In Color Designer Series Paper.  The idea for the offset layered 2 3/8" scallops comes from a design by Linda Callahan that was posted on Mary Fish's blog.  The two different colors on the "Wish Big" sentiment, which is from the Word Play set, were applied using Stampin' Write markers.

Petal Cone Basket

Well, it's nice to be missed!  We got word that some of you wondered what was going on with us since we haven't posted lately, but have no fear, we've just been living life (you know how that can go sometimes).  Actually, we had the pleasure of hosting our best friends, Kevin and Patty, from Nebraska for the last four days!  We had a wonderful time and even got some stamping time in (it's never enough, though!).  Anyway, this petal cone basket was made using the video tutorial from Angie Kennedy Juda over at Chic'n Scratch  Our basket was made using the Nursery Suite Specialty DSP and the "sending Springtime smiles" greeting from the Easter Blossoms set in the Occasions mini catalog.  The 2 1/2" circle and 2 3/8" scallop were used for the elements on each side of the basket.

Inked and Embossed Monogram Card

The background of this card was created by using the brayer to apply ink on the Petals-a-Plenty embossing folder and then running it through the Big Shot.  The monogram letter is from the Broadsheet Alphabet set.

Mojo Monday Week #177 Challenge

Here's a simple card for this week's Mojo Monday challenge, which incorporates a stamped image from the Sale-a-Bration set Punch Bunch, as well as some of the paper and die-cut adhesives from the Ice Cream Parlor DSP pack.  The Daffodil Delight scallop square was embossed with the Stampin' Up! exclusive Petals-a-Plenty folder.

Altered Embossed Tulips Frame

We are so grateful for the ideas that we can glean from other Stampin' Up! demonstrators and creative individuals.  We found instructions to alter the sizing of the new framed tulips embossing folder (available in the Occasions mini catalog) via Lynn Pratt.  The image and sentiment are from the Just Believe set.

Recycled Treat Container

These great treat ideas were made using empty Crystal Light containers.  We thought the Artistic Etchings set and the Love Letter DSP provided the perfect images and color combination for an expression of "amour".
And, the container is a nice size to include plenty of chocolate for the ones you love!  The hanging tag idea came from Chiaki Haverstick's (http://www.stampingpro.com/) beautiful card:

Lots of Layers Thank You Card

Got punches?!  This card certainly does!  The scallop square comes from the Sizzix scallop squares duo die.  All of the rest of the shapes are from punches.  The sentiment is from the Occasional Quotes level 3 hostess set and the patterned paper is from the level 1 hostess In Color DSP pack.  A pair of basic pearls complete the card.

Acrylic Christmas Ornaments

We know Christmas is past; however, we wanted you to see these cool ornaments that Kira made with acrylic discs.  She was inspired by acrylic ornaments that we received from our friend and fellow SU! demonstrator, Jason.  Here is one of the ornaments Jason sent
He used the Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio program to create the images and then attached it to the back of an acrylic block.  We will definitely be doing these ornaments as a Christmas project this year!  Thanks again Jason for the great idea and inspiration!

Another Card for Tanner

Here's another card in honor of Tanner's birthday yesterday (Kira did this one).  This one also uses the Celebrations DSP along with a stamp from the On Your Birthday set.  The sentiment was punched out with the curly label punch, then layered on a 2 3/8" scallop and 2 1/2" circle.

For a Friend

This card was inspired by Mary Fish's layout for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge.  Our design incorporates the I {Heart} Hearts set along with some of the Poppy Parade In Color Patterns DSP.  The hearts are punched using the full heart and heart to heart punches.  The large heart is then layered on a 2 3/8" scallop and a 2 1/2" circle.

Critter Thank You Card

Once again, we are so sad to see the Merry Crittermas stamp set retiring along with the Holiday mini catalog on January 3rd.  This simple thank you note incorporates some of the Jolly Holiday DSP along with the cuddly critter image from the set.  The critter was colored with a blender pen and coordinating classic ink pads.

Happy Birthday Pocket Portfolio

Happy Birthday to Kira's husband, Mark, today!  This is the pocket portfolio that she made for him using the Celebrations DSP and lots of other fun stuff!  This is the same design as one that was posted a couple of weeks ago using the Autumn Spice DSP.  The outside is decorated with the DSP cut using the Top Note die for the Sizzix Big Shot.  The scallop envelope die was used for the inside pockets and the Tasteful Trim die was also used for the scalloped accents above and below the envelopes.  A variety of stamp sets and puches were used for the greetings and star accents.  We wish Mark a very Happy Birthday, and MANY MORE!

We apologize for our absence lately, but hopefully we'll soon be posting some fresh projects as soon as the "holiday rush" has passed.  We wish all of you and your families Happy Holidays and all the best in the New Year!  And of course, happy stamping in the New Year too!
