The Stampin' Up Little Letters Thinlits are perfect for making monogrammed note cards. These note cards also feature the Lovely Lace embossing folder, and embellished with Pearl Basic Jewels and 5/8" Very Vanilla satin ribbon. The letters were punched out with the 1 1/4" scallop circle, and layered on the 1 1/2" circle and 1 3/4" scallop circle. These could be easily created in bulk as a great wedding or birthday gift.
Stampin Up Independent Demonstrator siblings Scot Strehlow and Kira Loy from Las Vegas share creative ideas for stamping, card making, scrapbooking, and paper crafting

Top Note Puppy Basket
This is copied from a design by Fran Sabad - we thought it was a very cute and unique use of the Top Note die, so we did this project for Big Shot Club this month. We made ours into a basket by using the Fancy Favor Box for the inside and adding a handle. All of the pieces making up the puppy's face are from punches!

Mother's Day Tulips
This card was actually CASE'd directly from another demonstrator, but we apologize that we can't recall who it was. The tulips were made using the wings from the bird punch, and the tulip leaves were made from the bird's body. The background scallop was cut with the scallop #2 die for the big shot and the layered circle was cut with the 3" circle die. The outside greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and the inside sentiment is from the Bring on the Cake set. The white dots around the scallops were done using the white uni-ball Signo gel pen.

Bliss Birthday
This card features images from the SAB exclusive Bliss set. The Happy Birthday on the front is from Curly Cute and the inside sentiment is from Full of Life.

Recycled Treat Container
These great treat ideas were made using empty Crystal Light containers. We thought the Artistic Etchings set and the Love Letter DSP provided the perfect images and color combination for an expression of "amour".
And, the container is a nice size to include plenty of chocolate for the ones you love! The hanging tag idea came from Chiaki Haverstick's (http://www.stampingpro.com/) beautiful card:

Butterfly Prints Birthday
This card features an image from the Butterfly Prints set and the sentiment is from Curly Cute. The butterflies were punched out using the butterfly punch and then tied with 1/8" taffeta ribbon to make the antennas (that doesn't seem like the right spelling, so excuse us if it isn't - HA!). The scallop trim border and 2 1/2" circle punches were also used. Although the DSP is from the retired Sweet Pea collection, any DSP can be substituted.

Mojo Monday Challenge - Week 174

In keeping up with her New Year's Resolution, isn't Kira's card beautiful?! She created this using the Mojo Monday #174 sketch shown above. The color combination (Sahara Sand, Early Espresso, and Cherry Cobbler) is rich and elegant. The Always stamp set was used for the images and the Cherry Cobbler layer was embossed with the Finial Press folder. Early Espresso satin ribbon completes the look!

Happy Saturday!
As you have seen from our projects here, we LOVE the Big Shot! This card was made using the scallop square die and then layered with polka-dot embossed cardstock strips. The variety of patterned hearts are from the I {Heart} Hearts set. Although the "from the heart" sentiment is from a retired set, a different sentiment can easily be substituted. The Early Espresso satin ribbon is embellished with a few basic pearls.

Love Is In The Air
This is one of the cards we'll be doing for January's Big Shot Club. The front was done using the Lots of Love Letterpress plate in the Big Shot. Full disclosure: after trying the letterpress plates initially the way that Stampin' Up! recommends (using Craft ink and brayer for application), we vowed never to demonstrate them to our customers. Luckily, one of our fellow demonstrators shared with us how he had used one with a Versamark pad and the tackiness of the ink helped it adhere without slipping. So we tried it, and were pleased with the results (although we would still recommend using repositionable adhesive to stick the cardstock to the top cutting plate). Out of all the texture plates, this one is our favorite, as the design of the different fonts really creates a beautiful background, or the words can be cut or punched out and used alone. The colors are hard to decipher in the photo - we used Pretty In Pink for the card base and layered with Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo. The ribbon is 5/8" Rich Razzleberry satin with 1/8" Pretty In Pink taffeta on top.

Thanksgiving Place Cards and Napkin Rings
We recently purchased the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Sizzix die from the Holiday mini catalog, and it seemed to lend itself nicely to this fall project - place cards and napkin rings for Thanksgiving dinner. The place cards are just a 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" piece of Early Espresso cardstock folded in half, then we put a piece of square lattice embossed Cajun Craze cardstock on top. The wavy strip of Autumn Spice specialty designer series paper was cut using the Tasteful Trim die. The initials were stamped using the Monogram Sweet alphabet set. The napkin rings were made using the Autumn Spice paper die cut with the Tasteful Trim die and accented with a piece of Early Espresso 5/8" satin ribbon.

It's SEW Easy!
Well, yes, it would be 'SEW EASY' if we knew how to sew!!! OK, so we cheated and used strips of the new Big Shot multipurpose adhesive sheets to adhere two scalloped squares cut out of the new Designer Fabric using the Big Shot! "It cuts material", you ask? OF COURSE, the Big Shot cuts over 50 different types of materials (check with us for the list). We agree that it would be a quick project for those of you who sew, as you could whip many of these out in minutes! What a great gift idea! There is one of our medium flat cello bags tucked inside filled with snack sized Hershey bars, and tied up with our coordinating ribbon. Each of our Designer Fabric bundles have three designs, all of which coordinate perfectly with the Designer Series Paper of the same name. The striped material is from the Candy Cane Christmas bundle, and the other one is from the Deck the Halls bundle. The tags were stamped using our new Tags til Christmas set in the Holiday mini catalog. The Tags til Christmas set makes it easy, as all of the images coordinate with punches! This is another project that we'll be doing in our Big Shot club this month.

A Day of Gratitude
This card features the Day of Gratitude stamp set that was included in our fee for the Stampin' Up! Regional seminar that we attended in St. George last weekend! The set is from the Holiday mini catalog. The edges were roughed-up and pierced to give it a rustic look. The 5/8" satin ribbon is Night of Navy, and it is coordinated with the same ink color for the stamped sentiment. The ribbon is tied off to the side with hemp twine.

Beautiful Birthday
Don't you LOVE the Just Believe stamp set?! We do too!!! Here is a swing card using the set. We searched online for the directions for a swing card, and had to alter them a little to suit our "perfectionist" nature. The photo shows the same card, one closed and one open. The center part "swings" around once opened. The Color Coach is laying out because you got it...another beautiful combination that we wouldn't have used if it weren't for that awesome tool! The three colors used are Basic Grey, Melon Mambo, and Old Olive. Unfortunately the Basic Grey 5/8" satin ribbon is discontinued (sad face); however, Old Olive satin ribbon would be just as beautiful (happy face). The Fiskars paper cutter came in very handy for this card, but there's not a lot of other tools except a 1 1/4" circle punch. Have a "b-e-a-utiful" day!
