Apothecary Art Happiest Birthday Card

What's not to love about coordinating products like the Apothecary Art stamp set and Big Shot Labels Collection Framelits?!  The Fancy Fan embossing folder was used for the background accent strip.  The floral image was stamped with black Staz-On and then colored using the Classic Stampin' Pads and Blender Pens.

We received the Affection Collection stamp set as part of our Convention 2012 package.  These two cards feature the set, along with the new Lacy Brocade embossing folder, Window Frames Framelits Collection, and Festive Paper-Piercing Pack, all three from the Holiday 2012 catalog.  Our apologies for the poor lighting in the photos, the top colors are Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum, and the bottom colors are River Rock and Always Artichoke, both with a Very Vanilla base.

Live, Laugh, Love

Here's another one of the cards that we did at our February Sale-a-Bration workshop last Sunday.  The "Live, Laugh, Love" sentiment is from one of the many stamp sets that can be selected for FREE for every $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration, which only lasts through March 31st.  The images are from the Sweet Summer set, which is exclusive to SAB!  The images were colored in using blender pens.  The Elegant Soiree DSP serves as a perfect background and provides a beautiful color scheme.  The bow was made using Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon from the Occasions mini catalog, and cinched with a Very Vanilla 5/16" jumbo brad.

Happy Saturday!

As you have seen from our projects here, we LOVE the Big Shot!  This card was made using the scallop square die and then layered with polka-dot embossed cardstock strips.  The variety of patterned hearts are from the I {Heart} Hearts set.  Although the "from the heart" sentiment is from a retired set, a different sentiment can easily be substituted.  The Early Espresso satin ribbon is embellished with a few basic pearls.

Poinsettia Card

This card was inspired by a couple of ideas from fellow demonstrators Lynn Pratt and Dawn Olchefske (we love their creative and clean designs).  The poinsettia was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink on a die-cut Cherry Cobbler circle using the leaf stamp from the French Foliage set.  The circle (which was cut with the Big Shot using the Bigz clear circle die) is layered on a piece of Very Vanilla embossed with the Petals-a-Plenty folder, and then layered on an Always Artichoke card.  The sentiment is from the Curly Cute set.  The poinsettia is accented with the basic pearls and the card is finished off with a piece of 1/8" Early Espresso taffeta ribbon.

Happy 18th Anniversary Scot & McCall!

Today is my (Scot) anniversary - 18 years!!  This is the card that Kira made for McCall and I - isn't it awesome!  She did a great job!  It features the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder, the Two-step XL Bird Punch, the 2 3/8" XL scallop circle punch, the 2 1/2" XL Circle Punch, the Modern Label Punch, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, and the Basic Pearls Jewels.  Thank you, Kira!
Have to share a photo from our celebratory night out, here we are toasting with champagne at Le Reve at the Wynn Resort last night.  McCall won tickets on the radio for a VIP package, so we were treated like celebrities with special plush seats, champagne, and a plate of chocolate-covered strawberries and truffles.  We really enjoyed the show and had a very nice time!

Life is a Matter of Moments Notepad Holder

Here is one of our projects for this month's Big Shot club.  We are focusing on texture in our club workshop this month, so we used the Beautiful Wings embosslits die and the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  The Basic Pearls were the perfect accent for the scalloped edge and the Victoria Crochet Trim added beautiful texture.  The stamped images are from the Elements of Style set.
