Scallop Circle Gift Card Holder

This gift card holder starts with a 6" x 12" piece of cardstock, and is then folded and cut using the Bigz Scallop Circle die.  After it's cut, it was embossed using a folder.  The sentiment on the front is from the Grateful Greetings set and punched with the tag punch.  They are an easy way to personalize a gift card!

6"x6" Christmas Scrapbook Pages

These awesome 6"x6" Christmas scrapbook pages use the Celebrations DSP and lots of other fun stuff like the Tags 'til Christmas, Word Play, and Grateful Greetings stamp sets.  A variety of punches were used for the images.  We MAY be scheduling a class to do these, so let us know if you like them, and we'll see if we can fit them in to our schedule.

Holiday Celebrations

The "Celebrations" Designer Seriers Paper found in the 2010-11 Stampin' Up Idea Book & Catalog easily lends itself to birthday projects as an obvious "celebration"; however, these Christmas/Holiday cards incorporate the paper into their designs.  The variety of sentiments used are from the Grateful Greetings and Many Merry Messages stamp sets.  The additional layered elements are done using different sized circle and scalloped punches.

Goblin Greetings

Today we feature a Halloween card designed by our grea frien (inside joke) and fellow demonstrator Kevin Theesen.  He used the spider web embossing folder for the front "panel" (another inside joke, sorry) of the card.  The "Goblin Greetings" sentiment is from the Grateful Greetings set and the bat image is from the Batty For You set.  A huge thanks to Kevin for sharing his creative talent with us (and you)!

Halloween Top Note Mini Album

This Halloween mini album was created for a workshop we have scheduled next week.  The Wonderfully Worn background stamp was used on the base of each page.  Accents of the Wicked Fun Designer Series Paper is used throughout, as well as images from the Batty For You stamp set.  The covers were embossed using the spider web folder for the Big Shot.  A variety of punches were used, including the new Decorative Label from the Holiday mini.  The sentiment on the cover is from the Grateful Greetings set.  Keep an eye out, as these mini album kits may show up for sale right here on our blog in the near future!

Embossed Medallion

Today's card idea reaches into the archives from last year.  The background medallion stamp is embossed using the Very Vanilla craft ink pad and clear embossing powder.  The image was then sponged with classic ink in Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Soft Suede.  The sentiment is from the Grateful Greetings stamp set and the embellishments are part of the Very Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware kit.

Everyone Loves Dasher

We were THRILLED to see the return of Dasher when we received the 2010-11 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog!  AND...it's an a la carte stamp, so you can buy it individually!  Who wouldn't love such a beautiful reindeer image?!  This card was one that we did last year; however, it is so worth posting as a repeat idea!  The original idea came from our AMAZING friend Patty Edwards.  The Dasher image was embossed using Bravo Burgundy craft ink and clear embossing powder on to Regal Rose cardstock.  We then brushed a coat of Champagne Mist shimmer paint over the whole piece.  The ticket corner punch was used on the top two layers.  The Make Merry stamp is from the Grateful Greeting set (so glad that set found it's way from last year's Holiday mini into the new IB&C too!) and was of course punched out using the tag punch.  The snowflakes in the background were from a retired hostess set; however, there are some great snowflake images in the Serene Snowflakes set.  We finished it off with some coordinating 3/8" Very Vanilla taffeta ribbon and gold mini brads.  You're probably thinking it's too early to worry about Christmas, right?  WRONG!  We can certainly understand though, because we are procrastinators too.  So what are you waiting for...GET BUSY!

Snowflake Wishes Thank You Card
